I was saying that while I'm satisfied with my gender, I'd be satisfied either way. It doesn't matter to me, as long as I can live the life I want to.

being a girl is more on beauty stuffs and light works .. its boring but its somehow makes me try to explore on things which i am capable of even i'm girl .. those 'what man can do'a woman can also do' .. (except from jacking of course ) !! smh !! lol

You can't be serious, being born a male opens up every single door imaginable I can't say the same for the opposite sex.

Also you definition of a man is flawed, a real man could care less what standards society has set for him and lives regardless of judgment/the rules.

I have more respect for a man that creates his own path & fails, than a guy that follows in the safety of the shadow of the man in front of him.
I'd just like to note that I'm not weighing in on whatever discussion that is taking place between TH and others (the details of which I have already forgotten). I'm just talking about the one bolded part.

The human race as a whole is meant to conform to certain societal standards. Like...the dude with the Leonardo DiCaprio avatar said, the world needs ditch diggers. If the ditch diggers all of a sudden started thinking for themselves then society would probably crumble.

Besides, plenty of men who step up and take responsibility for themselves and their lives, the true definition of a real man as far as I'm concerned (or woman for that matter), are unoriginal drones, and plenty of people with original ideas and who march to the beat of their own drummer are uber-tools who don't rate as "real men". So I don't really think that conforming to societal standards really has any place in deciding what a real man is.
