Bulldog was great. I also loved man hunt, that was such a great game.

My cultural favourites are largely northern. I can't seem to identify with southern culture whatsoever.
Unless it's entirely notional icons, like English eccentricity, rolling countryside, seaside towns etc.

Most of my love is for the things Cunning has already mentioned.
Back to back terraced housing, back yards, alleyways and more importantly the community spirit between neighbours that they generate.
As a kid, playing football until the sun went down unless it was winter then we'd play under street lights.
Corner shops and corner pubs. Chippy dinners, especially Steak & Kidney Pudding with gravy. Vimpto, Dandelion and Burdock, real ale.
The times when there were only 3 or 4 channels on TV when you knew that the entire country were probably watching the same thing at the same time, then chatting about it the next day in school.
These days you're lucky if you can find anyone who watched the same TV programme as you from the night before.
Foggy winter nights, bonfire night and bonfires, penny for a guy and cob calling.
All of which have been replaced by Holloween...apart from foggy nights. WTF happened to them? Long summer months too? :(

Rain! I love how we constantly moan about the rain, when secretly we love it really.
When coming into land on a flight from Turkey after 2 weeks of 50 degrees heat and the pilot announces that it's "overcast and raining in Manchester", is met by a spontaneous round of applause. Love it!

Our primary school banned it as well, because someone hit their head on concrete lulz.

I love winter, sure - I love summer as well because it's nice to be out in the sun. But there's nothing better than a rainy foggy night in December where you're sat in watching Match Of The Day on a Saturday night followed by Fifa with your supplies and a hot water bottle. It's the little pleasures in life like that. I'd like to know what Southerners love about their culture, because it seems pretty shitty down there.

He needs to man up, if you're gonna play such an intense game - make sure you're up fer it.

What I love about my culture is that we are laid back, walk around in our bare feet, call a holiday going to the batch and playing cricket. Because my country has a small population we all connect better as a huge community. Everyone is connected to another somehow, we have 2 degrees of separation. People from overseas tell me we are backwards but I tell them we are free. I don't give a **** that I'm not wearing the latest fashion from Europe or have the latest technology. I like that what makes me happy is sitting out in the sun on the deck drinking beer and pounding tunes. Not only that you can drive 20 minutes out of town and you are in a beautiful forest where you can go for long walks past waterfalls and native birds.

Hmmm, Canadian culture...

I guess I just love the obvious stuff like the winters, going sledding, making snowmen. Canadian beer of course and the fact that most Canadian adults are pretty lax about teenagers drinking. In my city you can stand outside a liquor store and ask people to buy you booze and 9/10 times they will buy for you. I also love making/eating maple syrup with my grandparents in Quebec, that's fun. I really love watching the hockey game on TV and then talking about it next day with your friends. I love Canada's cultural diversity and the different array of accents you hear around town is awesome. The best accent though is definately Newfie accents, they're hilarious.
