My relationship is based entirely on a barter system because 9/10 times we're both too eternally selfish to do favors without payment. He cooks, I give him a back rub. These things are discussed and plainly stated. And when we decide to be nice without anything in return, theres no expectation or discomfort of expecting repurcussion. If there were, it would be discussed.
