It'll be an entirely different occasion where something like that doesn't even matter.

I love them so dearly but I'm just not interested in a drunken party with a bunch of people who find it so novel to be wasted.

Not necessarily a bad thing though dude. Long as you're not like leading peeps on into thinking something more than casual's up in the mix there's no reason to feel bad about it. Can't ever expect things to be all perfect and the way you want/hope, just take a swing and see where that **** lands. Or don't. Whatever.

true true although ive definitely been guilty of leading people on in the past. its just like any small step in a relationship has me inches away from pushing the abort button. this girl made me breakfast in the morning and I was like wtf this is moving so fast

**** happens. You're gonna hurt people whether you mean to or not. People are gonna hurt you whether they mean to or not. It's ****ed like that. Near as I can tell anyways. Don't sweat the deets til they start gettin too stacked. So what man, she made you breakfast? Sweet. That was nice of her. Maybe she's just bein nice. Maybe she's tryna initiate steps towards another level in whatever kind of relationship y'all have right now. Find out if it's that bothersome. Just don't be a dick about it, if you can help it. I don't think you've ever acted like a dick on the forums so I think you're clear.

lol i find the fear of commitment a bit strange cause i have a similar fear of commitment but only towards things that are actually binding.

like i won't join the military. i've honestly thought about it but it's just too big of a commitment. and once they have you, they have you for like 8 years if they want you.

or having kids. if you have kids then you just sorta have kids forever or until you die or they die or you give the custody over to the state or something or you just drift apart emotionally as they age.. but even then you're at least looking at a good 20 years. that's a serious commitment that really i don't feel i could handle.

but relationships on the other hand... if things don't work out you can just split. it might not be pleasant but yea, the process isn't such a big deal in comparison.

having kids can be a good thing. mine have the been the source of the best of the best and the worst of the worst of life experience. but like the scariest bad ass mofo roller coaster, so far we've come out of everything on an even keel.

well ya the breakfast thing shouldn't be a big deal at all. up to now our relationship has been purely carnal but im 100% sure she wants to date and im 100% sure im going to go through with that. I know its gonna happen and shes cool and stuff but my mind is just fucked with this kind of shit. like I think in terms of opportunity costs or something ha

also oddly enough one of the reasons she told me she was attracted to me in the first place was because im such a dick haha so I think im the clear for being an assshole (the first time we banged I forgot her name during and somehow it didn't end there)
