i have the bad habit of mixing random sh*t like adding apple slices to tuna, it surprisingly blends well.
my papa wasn't.

but he was a trucker for most of my life because my mom (being disabled following a massive stroke when I was 6yrs old) was unable to work, so I didn't get to see a lot of my father (but he's one of the coolest people I know).

I just don't even know what I'm doing in the kitchen.

the most adventurous I'd ever gotten was making pasta salad for thanksgiving, or mixing orange juice with vodka.

You just gotta go for it..
there's alot of trial & error in cooking but you eventually get the hang of it.

my (future) mother in law is a food genie and I feel so daft around her, I haven't got the heart to admit that I don't know what to do with food.

Everybody can cook it just takes f*ckin up a dish or 2 to get it right.

I usually eat the dishes i mess up as punishment, it's how i learn.
