Google informs me that ice cools down the urine, which helps prevent odour from rising.

oh man i'm sorry. but i gotta say that when i read this i laughed out loud ha. But yeah its the worst. I have had to clean up puke at my work that looked like poo. So it was the worst of both worlds. oh my.
