Yeah as much as I like Lady Gaga, there is no way in HELL she could be my favourite. There is just too much music that would crucify her in regards to quality and brilliance.

She's had Last FM 13 months and has 59,577 plays for Justin Bieber, 3,641 plays for Britney Spears, 2,711 plays for Avril Lavigne....

Absolutely rubbish, she must play Justin Bieber while she sleeps.

I was just wondering how many of you are aware of at least one way to fake mass amounts of scrobbles... you don't have to leave your ipod on 24/7.

I downloaded a script a while back that allows me to manually set the playcount for my iTunes songs (because I was updating my music into higher quality files and/or complete albums, and because I care about keeping track of my play counts that much), and theoretically (because I've never actually tried but logically conclude that it's possible) you can set a song's play count to 9,999,999, plug in your iPod, and for some reason your scrobbler decides that all those plays came from your iPod, thus scrobbling them onto your account.

For example, I've accidentally scrobbled Bloc Party's "Banquet" about 30 times at once.
