Left a shout that said "wtf" on the Townes Van Zandt page. It's clear he wasn't replying to another shout, as a quick glance at his flashy, shrine to American mainstream and psuedo-counter culture profile clearly indicates that the concept of music with artistic merit escapes him. BURN HIM!

Find more and bring them to justice.

He's only ever listened to one track, the guy who has gaga on repeat is definitely worse, as this guy is a joke.

These people with thousands of listens to the same/only artist/song are obviously doing it just to skew stats. They should be burned at the stake. And their profiles/scrobbles deleted.

Yeah as much as I like Lady Gaga, there is no way in HELL she could be my favourite. There is just too much music that would crucify her in regards to quality and brilliance.

She's had Last FM 13 months and has 59,577 plays for Justin Bieber, 3,641 plays for Britney Spears, 2,711 plays for Avril Lavigne....

Absolutely rubbish, she must play Justin Bieber while she sleeps.

I only have 130 unique artists listed, She has 193. WTF.

I was just wondering how many of you are aware of at least one way to fake mass amounts of scrobbles... you don't have to leave your ipod on 24/7.

I downloaded a script a while back that allows me to manually set the playcount for my iTunes songs (because I was updating my music into higher quality files and/or complete albums, and because I care about keeping track of my play counts that much), and theoretically (because I've never actually tried but logically conclude that it's possible) you can set a song's play count to 9,999,999, plug in your iPod, and for some reason your scrobbler decides that all those plays came from your iPod, thus scrobbling them onto your account.

For example, I've accidentally scrobbled Bloc Party's "Banquet" about 30 times at once.

He must have really bad acne to be photoshopped that much.

Interesting... one might logically conclude that listening to Good Charlotte is inextricably tied with listening to other musical garbage.

Maybe...

Not bad or anything, but I had a guy on my last.fm who had something like 300k Nine Inch Nails plays and at the time I had like 1200 plays, and in one week he'd listened to them 4000 times! I dont even understand. His weekly listen was more than my overall, argh.

Then he reset his charts and since May last year he'd build up 172k plays. IN ONE YEAR.

ICK! His top artists are a disgrace.

That's not that much! You could probably match that in like a week or two. Don't you fret none
