I actually do think most people are good deep down. The problems start when you have the real ass holes of the world show up and they have a will to power. Mob mentality is what is going to ruin the human race. People are followers.

It is the the fact that we have the most intelligent brains on earth yet we act as one of the most stupid that annoys me.

There is no doubt that we can be compassionate, kind and capable of beautiful things but we are self serving idiotic bullies regarding our role in the world and rarely give to the world but always, always take.

I am not some environmental soapbox dweller preaching to all and don't want to be either but I also see our blinkered ignorance in our role on the planet and it annoys me.

I definately don't think humans are perfect, far from it, if that's what you mean. I just try to always see things in a more positive light, that's all.

Yes, it is different. Food is essential to its survival, we as a human race have made oil an essential to life. It's not REALLY that necessary.

My point is that as animals we didn't just decide randomly to be selfish *******s who only think about themselves and the rest of the human race. I agree, people try to give animals more credit than they should get when they essential practice the same survival of the fittest thing that we do.
