Sorry it's just a bit strange. I used to moderate a big video game forum with language restrictions limited to 12 and under. It was the same kind of forum, and the control panel had a language tab where you could decide which words to censor...

When you insert commands in between filtered words it overrides the censor, which is what he's doing. Why would mods parade with swear words if they chose to filter it themselves?

This site is owned by a company, not a private individual. They make all the rules, and one of them is that filter and the mods can't do anything about it without their sayso, and they don't really sayso about much of anything.

We don't choose to filter it, we have no control over the filter. None of us are owners or administrators of this site.
