See, I know that science fiction has lead us to believe that interfering with our own timeline will end in horrible results, but I don't know - I don't think that it would. Who's to say that interfering with your own timeline will actually bring better results?

While I do love the Back to the Future films more than anything, and Marty McFly is awesome.... I make my own time travelling rules, bitches.

Back to the Future AND The Butterfly Effect!

There is also numerous other sci-fi movies that say the similar theory. Just don't mess with anything in the past especially in your own timeline. So dangerous!

Haha I actually was going to say ask DJ cause he probably knows 5 more films with that lesson in time travel.

In Back to the Future they meet themselves several times! 1955 Biff is infamously given the Sports Almanac by 2015 Biff. 1985 Doc also speaks with 1955 Doc in this one. And Marty from the first film accidentally knocks out Marty from the second film and 1985 Jennifer comes face to face with 2015 Jennifer! And everything turned out OK in the end

Other examples:

1. Harry Potter. How does Harry Potter learn to produce a patronus charm? By watching future Harry Potter produce a patronus charm!

2. Looper. Need I say more.

3. Futurama. I'm sure you've all seen the episode where Fry learns he is is own ancestor. If he didn't go back and meddle with his timeline, he wouldn't exist!

4. Doctor Who. Amy Pond constantly meets herself in the past, present and future.

There are my examples. I will try to think of more.

Since I'm Hermione I have to be pedantic, he learned it from Lupin! He just knew he could do it from watching himself do it
