Ah, sure. I forgot about that. I'm glad it helped you along.
I still don't agree with all of them. I think you're probably a bit hard on yourself :).

I think you just killed this thread. :/

That college is absolutely essential and fucking around in freshman year (of high school) is not a good investment. My cumulative gpa is still fine and I'm definitely going to college but it has been a pain in the ass taking all these impossible AP classes in junior year to make up for the mistakes I made almost 3 years ago.

Woops. Ah just ignore whatever I said and continue :).

I guess this thread is all about hind sight is 20/20 but idk.

I don't live with any regrets so I guess I don't have anything useful to contribute but I just wanted to add this wisdom

live your life and don't regret anything that you have done in the past because everything that you have gone through have made your stronger and the better person that you are today.

The only thing I wish I'd known was that David Bowie was never going to gig again after his 2003/4 tour. Otherwise I'd have put much more into trying to get hold of tickets to see him when I had the chance.

Yeah, I don't really live with many regrets either.

Nah, nostalgia's fun. It's a good source of conversation-fodder.

Being a whore isn't such a bad thing.

Feeling like everybody hates you and nobody understands you is really normal. You're really normal. Stop being so tense.

Stand up straight. You look angsty and unpleasant.

I don't know why you disagreed with these s_k they are true for the most part.

The whole stop talking about childhood relates to bad childhood experiences I think she means and not the good nostalgic kind.

the whole standing up straight is just something good to do. Good posture is a good thing to have and will help your back in the future.

I don't think anyone should ever stop talking if it makes them feel better.
You cannot just 'get over' stuff.
It still sits there.

djchameleon 03-20-2011 06:36 PM

yeah but I don't think talking about things will change your past or make you feel better if you keep talking about it and you are uncomfortable about how much you talk about it.

People deal and cope with their past/situations differently. Some people can talk about it and feel better while others are just fine not mentioning it at all and it doesn't sit on their conscious.

I wish I had known you have to bake weed into something to eat it.
