I'm just gonna make a point here and then **** off before someone tells me to.
It is this: the thread is called RIP. Rest In Peace. Ain't it funny how there are always fights going on in here? Not much peace around here.

And now, I go back to whatever it is I do.

Never saw it, and I don't like musicals.

Next you're going to tell us you don't know who Gene Kelly or Fred Astaire are......

Gene Kelly no clue. I've heard of Fred Astaire; had to google him after a Sage Francis reference.

It's so much more than just a musical. Give it a try.

Kelly and Astaire were like the Jagger and Richards of the 50s. Guy's were Hollywood cinema rock stars.

NB for the younger crowd: First off Jagger and Richards weren't "of the 50s," they were of the "60s and beyond..." And another thing, Keef and Mick didn't tap dance. Maybe Mick had moves like Jagger, but I don't think they were of the tap dancing variety, maybe a little soft shoe mixed in with style of James Brown.

No, he's saying Kelly and Astaire were of the 50's. Re-read it.
