Jesus Christ, the Strawman is mandingo in you.

Do you have any concrete examples of the "free market" in practice? Bonus points if you can name one where it actually came to benefit the majority of the population. Until you can do that, you're just being utopian.

For capitalism to work in developing nations they have to have an industry to back to up beyond mining/drilling which ends up being a problem for them.

Did you read the part where I mentioned that I'm the only employee left? Three top level company VP officers were let go and I still have a job. The CEO and I talk on a daily basis about every issue related to trying to keep the company alive and trying to win the lawsuit. He doesn't make a move until we've conferred and come to a common ground.

Your complete lack of empathy in regard to what I've been trying to relate about my own personal life situation speaks volumes dude.

I'm empathetic to your "friend" your CEO forced you to tell he was fired. I'm empathetic to the pain of realizing "common ground" means lapdog agreement to anything even ****ing over your wife and friend.

The Rest in Peace Thread (March 24, 2011 - November 26, 2016) It started with Liz Taylor and ended with Fidel Castro. Hijacked, derailed and destroyed by the usual suspects.

R.I.P.

The last few posts of the Castro derail have been moved to the Fidel Castro Is Dead thread. If you want to continue the debate, please do so there.

"Why would three musicians climb into a manhole-" is all I heard out of that video.

Gutted.

Cuthbert 11-29-2016 04:04 AM

They're not nobodies either. I'll be honest I've never heard of them but top division in Brazil is massive. Usually when you see stories like this it's a part time team or something but these are in a 22k stadium and continental final. Well followed and supported.

Chapecoense squad wasn't even supposed to be on the flight. Had applied for a charter flight but request was denied by Civil Aviation Agency
Mad if true.

Awful. Their version of Munich and the Busby Babes no doubt. Terrible tragedy. Thoughts are with their families and friends. :(

Brazilian clubs requesting Chapecoense are protected from relegation for three years. Offered to loan them players for free.

Ol’ Qwerty Bastard 11-30-2016 05:07 PM

Touching stuff.

EA sent out the team's kit and crest for all Ultimate Team players to use on FIFA 17.

I reckon 2016 has one more 'big hitter' imo. I'm talking someone like Bob Dylan or Stevie Wonder.

Probably around Boxing Day.

Auto accidents happen to the healthiest of them all.

I feel like it's someone that's going to catch people off guard.

Also he has been running his body ragged lately doing all that touring. It could catch up with him.

Ol’ Qwerty Bastard 12-08-2016 10:46 AM

After Bowie, Lemmy, Prince, and Cohen I'm just not sure how much more the world can give. Can't we just trade Trump and Clinton for a year of a peace?

Frownland 12-08-2016 10:49 AM
