my diet consists of these things, on a daily basis:

a cup of rice
a piece of chicken or meat or anything that closely has the same weight
a cup of any vegetable dish
a can of orange juice or soda

Well I am still doing my Keto diet. Which is very low carb. So I have been eating burgers, hot dogs, fish, eggs. chicken, and wings lately. I use a lot of seasoning to mix up flavor like lemon salt seasoning and cajun seasoning for meats. Snacking on bags of pepperonis, bags of colby jack cheese, pickles, olives. Then on weekends I've been carb loading. I've been taking a multivitamin to get things I'm missing from fruits and veggies (sometimes I eat brocoli) but I have forgot to take it a lot and need to remember every day.

I've been lifting much more. Mainly upper body and abs every day. A lot of lat, shoulders, biceps, and triceps. Some chest but I need to work more of that into the equation.

Pros: I started this like 5-6 weeks ago. I weighed myself last week and was at 184.5. I started at 200. I am going to weigh myself tomorrow at the gym and I am hoping to be closer to 182. I can tell by looking in the mirror I look way thinner. It got a lot easier after a couple weeks to adjust to my diet. I don't even think about eating carbs. The hardest part is denying myself beer. Carb loads on weekend are like heaven though. I do miss milk sometimes. The nice thing is that you're never really hungry on this diet. I can't eat 2000 calories a day if I try, so it's a guarantee to lose weight.

The only con so far has been being constipated. Next time I'm at the doctor I'll have to see if my blood pressure or anything else is high or reason for concern. I feel like I might be eating too much salt and like I said, I need to not forget my multivitamin.

Dirty, I do not get your diet, at all. Would you mind explaining your rationale?

I've been lowering my junk food intake 90% and eating below 2000 calories a day. Generally I try to not go past 1500 calories to allow for 500 less to burn off. In my first week I lost 2.5kg so it's great! Here's hoping for another 1kg this week.

Eat 500 less calores a day than your maintenance calories. Of those calories, about 65% fat, 30% protein, 5% carbs. Workout a lot. Lose lots of weight, add lots of muscle.

That's like the basic idea.

Dirty, sorry, I didn't explain myself clearly. I understand why people do keto diets (as I did one myself), but I don't understand your diet. In particular: why the carb loading on weekends? Why are you getting your carbs from sausage, prepared meat & dairy instead of fruit & veg?

I ask because to my mind keto has meant 20 grams or less of carbs a day, with no less than 15 grams of which coming from fruit & veg. Further, as the point of a keto diet is to get the body to burn fat instead of carbs for energy, and as it takes the body a while to adjust to this, why load up on carbs on the weekend? Doesn't that do your G.I. track hell?

Well I'm getting my weekend carbs for glycogen levels...and that's just something I read. Any advice would be helpful. I researched as much as I coul but I've never been a nutrion buff and not good with how the body works. It just said to do carbo loads so that's what I did. I figured the fruits and veggies would be too many carbs. I usually eat carbs every other weekend just because they taste good after not having them 13 days in a row.

Leg lifts are great for abs btw. I'm dying because of them. But they're worth it.
