I got Pokemon Yellow when it first came out. My brothers got Blue and Red and I didn't want to have the same thing. It was a lot of fun back then getting started with Pokemon and not knowing what you're supposed to do. Don't get me wrong, it's great fun now, but it's the same thing as playing Minecraft for the first time, there's nothing better than learning a game.

Barney's got nothin' on Jim's creatures.

But the artist/student clips from Sesame Street were kind of dark and freaky sometimes, like seriously

Spoiler for Super creepy clip from 1983.:

Honestly my childhood was really awful, my best memories revolve around reading, that's why I took the middle name Matilda because that really was me. That's the only way I survived tbh

feeling you there; emotional abuse from several people throughout my life but I managed to avoid physical abuse for a long time.

unfortunately some of us weren't quite that lucky.

music, books, notebooks, movies, any sort of escape is an absolute godsend.

Once I got too big to spank my mom started using emotional and psychological torture, much of which involved public humiliation. That's when everything got much worse.
