When someone fucking says "Hmmmm"

And that's their only response, it pisses me off. When I see some type "Hmmm" I feel to respond "FUCK YOU!"

But I digress...

I hate it when someone messages you and it turns out they have nothing to say to you & they expect you to create the conversation.

Another thing that would annoy me was when I was a mod people who would message me to ask mod questions when I wasn't even logged onto the forum. As Boo Boo found out when he got put on my ignore list rather quickly.

Well they ain't perfect either.
I was at a party last saturday and a friend of mine was texting her ****buddy. They had this little problem, not too much of a deal, and she kept answering 'cold'. I wonder why some (most, I'm afraid) girls do this. Anyway, in the end she said 'it's okay, sleep well'. And he answered 'you're sweet'. The guy is desperate... And quite rightly so. She's 24, he's 18, she's immensely good looking, he isn't and he drives a yellow hyundai atos. Go google.

I've been asking myself this question since 2002.

I do that, it gets people to go away. :D Or this little guy. :P

i hardly ever text, unless the other person is not picking up for some reason

Lol that usually annoys people as well when thay call me and dont get an answer. Then they send a txt and I respond lol

I'm not sure why some people think it's fun but it's convienant if you aren't able to be on the phone with them because you are in a meeting or at a doctors appointment.

It's a good way to communicate.

I like having texting buddies where we text back and forth all day but idk I just like to talk I guess it's not a matter of it being fun but something to do so I don't go around saying "I'm bored"

plus you can type txt things like....k,oh,hmm,...,awkward,lol,right and things of that nature as well.

Texting was like the "thing" a few years ago...there's better ways to communicate now. [like online]. :')

It's an inexpensive way to have a good conversation? There's never any awkwardness because you have time to think of a response.

I once tried proving a point to someone I knew and I spent a good ten minutes typing a few paragraphs up and when my friend replied to it all she said was "k". I was so pissed, I deleted her from my facebook and stopped talking to her.

Well, there really is no better retort to anyone who has clearly taken there time to make a point, but in fairness, I would have done the same thing.

"k" is worse than "lol", but both of them leave the message so closed-ended that you have to think of a completely new conversation direction to go in and makes everything completely awkward.
