Default Notting Hill Carnival!!!

August bank holiday weekend in London, 28th and 29th.

I love carnival, everyone just seems happy there (or it may just be me). I love the music playing in the background, the costumes people have and the smell of the food on the barbecues, and the spices they are cooked with.

Anyone going? I'm planning on it, hopefully my friends will be up for it as well.

HAH! Unlucky. We get a lot of West Indian culture over here, at christmas there is always NSPCC (children's charity) steel drummers, playing christmas songs. Its seriously the coolest thing ever!

Where I live these guys are out every year, every day for like 2 weeks leading up to christmas. Watching this makes me feel christmassy without fail!
