same with me and the afterlife. the idea that death is the end is just depressing to me. i take comfort in believing theres something after.

I would like to belive that we all have lessons to learn, and we keep coming back as babies, and new, but without knowing, we have that bit of knowlage to carry with us kinda like a concience in the next life.
if we don't learn from our lives before, we learn it again.
and the previous lives may affect our decisions we make..
just what I belive

i don't know what i believe.. i don't really care much about it.. i am a christian but i don't think it has anything to do with me believing or not in reincarnation.. it's like the alien thingy.. i dunno. some people say they've seen UFOs and that they have proof.. whatever. i can't say anything unless i've been there.

so meet me in afterlife and continue the talk over there

I like to believe that when Im dead, Im dead. Thats it. New life begins elsewhere, I wouldnt like to think of myself as just a recycled marmoset or something.

In a way, I do. After thousands and thousands of years there may be some way of reincarnating. But I think that person has to earn the ability to.

However, although religions like Hinduism and Buddhism- among the oldest we know of-give some good ethical advice, not everything they contain is true.

wow that was an ignorant post. There is no more of an "aura of mystery and mysticism" around buddhism and hinduism than there is around christiany or any other major religion. Just because you personally aren't familiar with the beliefs and doctrines that make up these religions doesn't mean the rest of the world is. Peopl follow these religions for the exact same reasons they follow christianity, because they're personal beileifs are aligned with those taught by that religion.

About the only thing I have an interest in is Karma, I wouldn't quite call it a belief yet. Everytime I'm an A**hole something always comes back to me. Hasn't stopped me from being an a**hole though, I just know what to expect now.

I know, I am really that deep
