Having WWE on broadcast television is going to be great for their ratings.

There was a lot of discussion about this when AEW was starting up. To be honest, I doubt they'd sink A LOT of money into it if at some point they won't turn a profit. So I don't know if it's going to be exactly a Ted Turner-WCW thing, where he kept the company alive for as long as he was in charge.

That being said, they seem to be doing well at the moment. Apparently they got a lot of money from TNT and the network is quite supportive of them, and Khan put a lot of money into an upcoming video game, so things could turn out more than okay.

Well the thing is that WWE first took over the wrestling business in a massive talent raid when they signed a bunch of disgruntled AWA wrestlers, including Hulk Hogan. They've done it before to success, it's not a new thing, you gotta invest in proven talent to go along with up and coming talent and that's true in I think any business. Like you said, they're gaining some momentum because of it. I don't know if it's enough to put them over the top against WWE who are still a lot bigger and more marketable. I think they're trying to argue that they're the world's top wrestling company and that WWE doesn't qualify as professional wrestling anymore and I think there's something to that. I don't know if they consider each other direct competitors even.

Yeah, I saw that about the video game and they've shown some of what they've been working on. It looks interesting, a lot of people have been complaining that the WWE video games never change and they've all basically sucked for the last 15 years or whatever, so it'll be interesting if this one is actually good and gets good reviews if that could win over some support.

insiders have been saying maybe WWE is catering to more Kids and PG style demographic

while AEW is going for the older 20 and 30 year olds

so who know how this will turn out Maybe the rumors are true Vince is going to sell the company to Disney

WWE is like Disney on ice

and AEW is like ..Rasslin
