Default Dodging the Bullet

Post examples of things that were close to coming to fruition, but didn't for whatever reason.

First off, here's a well-publicized Chicago Tribune Tower plan entry from 1922, paying homage to the Doric column. Imagine this on Chicago's skyline today.

That's how I felt after watching it. I grew up on them. My dad use to bring my brother and I to a Three Stooges festival every year. This is akin to giving the Mona Lisa a golden shower.

That's really awesome. I would say just avoid all contact with this and preserve your good memory.
