Wow I'd totally forgotten about that video! It's startling how different a life I'm living now as compared to when I saw this the first time round.

Time is a harsh mistress.

But thanks for bringing this back into my world.

Have you seen the film I was referring to? I'm sure you'd love it.

I haven't actually - planning to view it this evening thank you!

Ola Simonsson's Music for One Apartment and Six Drummers premiered in 2001 and won 30 awards at various film festivals.

The 4-minute short, Kvinna vid grammofon (Woman and Gramophone) followed in 2006 but I have yet been unable to find a copy on the web.

Sound of Noise was released in 2010 as the official follow-up to One Apartment and I look forward to checking it out.

Frank Zappa's Family Plans Massive New Release Schedule | Rolling Stone

The best part of the story is this

Quote:

Zappa's son, Ahmet [...] will be taking over daily operations of the Zappa Family Trust from Frank's widow Gail
Gail has needed to **** off for a long time now for spoiling the family name by taking a bunch of greedy nonsense to court. Let's hope Ahmet is a revolutionary.

But what of Moon Unit?

She's still cleaning the catbox.

She spends her time being an excellent interviewee, just like her old man.

One of my favorite interviews ever was one where a female interviewer was initially taken aback by his views on... the recording industry or something, but by the end she clearly wanted to fuck him. It was some Charles Manson shit.
