OMG that's fantastic! But this is clearly the best webcomic of all time...

Pirates off the coast Somalia attacked a U.S. Navy missile cruiser. The ship opened fire on the boarding ship, sinking it and rescuing the five pirates so they can be tried. The ship them located the mothership and sunk it. It took less than two minutes to put the ship out of commission. I guess one could say the Pirates' rum is all gone?

So badass, the next Harry Partch. Someone needs to do a documentary on this man and his instruments.

I've been playing around with some ideas utilizing some things around here at work, which is a steel fab shop. Not necessarily 'making' the instruments, but using them as a percussive element.

That's always fun. For a while my friend was on inventory for a machinery production factory, and some days the bosses would leave him and a few coworkers to close. He would call me and my other mate over and we would come over with drumsticks and bud. We'd smoke out with his coworkers and they'd watch us jam on all the machinery.

He got laid off a couple of months ago though, and his new job is more strict about letting strangers in :(.

Machinery percussion circle. Nice.

20 and 40 foot containers provide an interesting boom when hit with a 20 lb sledge. Just sayin'.
