really important: deleted files
ok so i got a big problem, i dunno if anyone can help. my sister has deleted all my poems in my computer. they were saved in notepad and they aren't anywhere.. (so don't even suggest to check recycle bin cause i did that..)
so.. the big question i'm afraid to ask: CAN I GET THEM BACK?? this happened like 2-3 weeks ago.. i've heard something about some "document recovery".. i dunno what to do... please help? |
There is a glimmer of hope
http://www.save-my-data.com There is free recovery software on that site that should be able to get back you're deleted files. I've never lost anything that important myself so i've never used these kinds of program. Hope it works |
oh.. THANKS A LOT!!! i'm gonna try it right now
thank you thank you thank you thank you |
hmm there's a problem.. so i go to this site.. now what?
|
Yeah, sorry, that website was w**k.
Try this http://www.driveservice.com/stellar/...#downloadsarea or http://cddataguys.com/undelete-unera...very/index.htm Its only a demo though so I don't know how effective they will be. |
Do a system restore, and set it back to 5 or 4 weeks ago..(depending on when she deleted them, you have to set it back to the day before, but do a couple days before so you can be safe).
It'll be back. I've done it quite a few times when I've downloaded some viruses etc. |
^Nice one. Didn't think of that

Just not in this case. :)

Hmm... I didnt know system restore brought back deleted documents. I thought it only restored changed/deleted programs.
