Sure, it has a lot to do with your personal beliefs but if I see someone with an amazingly well done tattoo I'm going to enjoy it purely for the visual aesthetic, and the same goes for someone having a "meaningful" tattoo. Life isn't serious, and your body isn't some sacred temple that should be free from modification. Do what thou wilt, haters.
That's the thing. At first, the only reason I got mine was because I liked the way it looked. I never really wanted some obscure meaningful tattoo because I figured I'd eventually grow up and think differently, so the only sort of tat I ever wanted was for the visual aesthetic.

Now, I just don't think it's adding anything of value to my life, and I couldn't care less about it, so there isn't much of a reason for me to want to keep it. Personally, I'm more concerned about not having to wear long sleeves at a job in the muggy heat of Louisiana. So it's just more practical for me to not have one.

Wow, I completely agree with everything you just said. Couldn't have said it any better myself.

@Freebase: Thats to bad I remember a picture of yours and it looked very well done. What mde you change your mind about having tattoos?

Also I predict in a decade they will be able to remove pretty much any tattoo nearly instantly. If you look at where removal was 10 years ago it has grown by astronomical amounts. I think a lot of people who do it however are just making room for new tattoos.

Mainly I just no longer see the point of having one, plus having one down your entire arm isn't so great for jobs.

I always go into interviews with a long sleeve shirt. And if its a probation period will typically keep it on until thats over and they see im actually a good worker.

Granted idk what kind of jobs you are trying for.

If I could get away with a sleeve, damn right I'd get one. They're sexy as hell on everybody.

My personal opinion is that I don't think it would be an improvement on you.

I wouldn't have a tattoo, because I don't trust myself.
