It is very expensive. I have a friend who used to smoke a pack a day. She was spending like $9 a day on cigarettes. Last year she decided to quit and each day she put the 9 bucks she would have spent on smokes into a bank account. After one year she had enough money to go to backpacking in Europe.

It's a really good incentive and since she was already factoring that money into her daily budget, she decided to put it towards something good.

I'm a soft-spoken person and I tend to do that a lot unless actually reading to a person who's present. Bad habit, but I do it without even noticing.
