No no no. You misunderstand. Things always happen for a reason with people whose lives have significance.

It's just that most people live meaningless lives, so how can something happen for a reason when existence itself is meaningless?

Reminds me of people who say "There's no such thing as a coincidence". Like, if every coincidence was some kind of heavenly convergence don't you think everyone would notice all the time and the whole faith thing would be pretty pointless? Seems to me God needs coincidences just for plausible deniability.

Leaving the restroom the other day, I turned the corner and ran into another teacher, whom I just happen to hate, knocking him down and sending his books and papers scattered down the corridor. And I knew in that moment it was fate. If I'd shook the piss from my dick for a moment longer, I wouldn't have been able to achieve revenge against my enemy.

This man is an ordained priest. I'm beginning to question his denomination.

You're not talking about me, are you? Because when my wedding company asked for my ordination certificate--or whatever you call it--I just printed out something from Church of the Matrix, and those non-English-reading monkeys just accepted it.

I have to imagine fake marrying people is considered a sin.
