What is up with the current trend of using old members/current regular's avatars. Can you(select few who will remain nameless) not come up with an original avatar that express's your musical, or personal taste?

There.... Wow I feel like the only one who noticed or is slightly annoyed by it. Actually I don't really care that much, I just want to understand why the would want to take classic avatars by cool members and use them as their own... If they didn't even know, that's a whole other story.

i noticed tommyrockers, thats all.

I even joked about the fact i've used it! Get over it, you're just as bad, fair enough if you were in your own avatar but your not. Mine used to be my drumset but i was bored. Cry if you must, he's long gone, its a cool avatar im done with the matter.

It may be surprising but I don't sit down and look through every post you've made so I wasn't aware of that. I just noticed a few members with old member's avatars. I was curious to why, so I made a thread about it.

yeah, i dont find the whole using-other's-avatars thingy a big deal. who cares.

Frankly, I could care less if you have that avatar... I mean it's an awesome one, but some people like to have a little originality.

Not me clearly, because i used an avatar from someone else on a music forum because i haven't got the software to make a gif of my own. Hmmmmm Makes perfect sense.

It puzzles me because when I make a thread about peoples avatars out of shear boredom and curiosity, I get named as a low life.......but when there's threads in the lounge about video games, spleens, and ninjas people never make comments like that..... hmmm....

theres a difference. i have 2000+ posts because music is my main interest. if that makes me sad then quite honestly you can choke on your opinion. but making a thread complaining about avators...come on now.

i have never once claimed that a number of my posts werent pointless and i will endeavour to do something to fix that..... also i have never claimed that i am not a sad case and do not spend way too much time on this site which i obviously do....

If im not at Martial Arts or out with mates im always on here. Just 'cause its to dangerous to go out late where I live. Nothing wrong with spending long amounts of time on here :)
And as for the avatars, oh well if you like them, use them.

i never once asked anybody else to do anything. i said what i thought of him. others simply said what they thought. also, i didnt ask him to apologise at all, id be interested in any qoute you can find that says otherwise. im sure hes a nice guy and all that, but meh, you get my drift.
