This is very sad news

I've had so many great conversations with him during his time here. It's hard to believe that he's passed (this is my first hearing of it). I definitely shed some tears, as I considered him a good friend on here. We would talk about our problems and he would actually care, and that doesn't happen every day. Very sad news. Rest In Peace good buddy.

I came here too late to know HtD, but I know the tragic heartache of losing a dear internet friend, I won't tell my story here as this is Howard's thread. I will tell it elsewhere when I have a quiet moment. As for now, my deepest condolences to those who knew and loved Howard.

Shocked! I absolutely loved Duce, he definitely was a brilliant guy.

I sure hope his wit and intelligence will be of use, somewhere.

Even though I've been absent for long, I still feel like I'll miss having him walk around on this earth.

So a thread was bumped recently in which Howard was the last post (it was a poll). That led me to check out this thread... Freakily enough, Howard actually passed away two years ago to the day. I was genuinely taken aback to see that he passed on Halloween, and surprised I had forgotten this.

Regardless, RIP Patrick. Always enjoyed chatting with you on here. You were always approachable and gave me some great recommendations, even if I didn't think so at the time. Sadly missed.
