I hate giving urine samples. When I was in the hospital last year (wow it's been a year already lol), I had to give my doctors regular samples so they could see how my body was metabolizing the cocktail of drugs I was taking. The worst part is that instead of a cup, it was a test tube! Do you know how hard it is for a girl to pee into something that's only an inch wide? Not to mention that I just had surgery too so I was in pain.

I've never given a urine sample for a job or anything else before, but I can only imagine that's it's just as unenjoyable.

Getting away from the piss theme.

Paul Simonon of The Clash was the first live person other than the Queen to be photographed and put on the front of a Royal Mail stamp. The rules Royal Mail had at the time were that to be on a stamp you either had to be a reigning monarch or dead.

It happened when Royal Mail issued a collection of album cover stamps of which London Calling was one of them and nobody noticed. The rules have since been changed & living people can now be featured on a stamp.

So The Clash are helping to fund the government? Viva la revolution.

The amount of time I had to wait, the number of people I had to talk to and everything else that lead up to the act of pissing in a cup was a hell of a lot more involved than I ever could have imagined.

I thought maybe you were referring to the new manditory testing for welfare recipients in Florida.

You should see the spectacle they make of it when you're in the service.

I've given my urine to many a hospital trip and only one blood test. The cups are hard to pee into and it's gone on my hands too, ick!

Polar bears are left-handed

Unless I'm mistaken, being left handed is a trait determined by genetics. No two individuals have identical DNA make-up's and I find it incredibly hard to believe that every member of this species have inherited the exact same trait when it comes to right vs left handed usage.
You'd have to study each individual to determine whether or not this is the case, and I'm going to go out on a limb and say that biologists have not studied every single polar bear ever to confirm this.

Trollheart 02-10-2013 01:09 PM

... also, that would be left-pawed, would it not? Southpaw?

I'm sure the doctors were pretty confused since she just came in for a flu shot.
