Default italics for the people!

so, perhaps some of you are getting the impression by now that i kind of like causing sh*t... hopefully, it's not useless sh*t though.

anyway... i've started a page on facebook. it's called We Want to Use Italics, and the intention is basically that it gets so many likes, that the developers actually take notice and enable the use of italics in things like status updates. it's kind of a total joke, but it's kinda not.

i don't know if it's considered spamming when i don't really get anything out of posting a link, so i'm gonna go ahead and post a link, and if that rocks the boat, the mods can delete the thread.

i'm hoping that doesn't happen though, and that the friendly and proactive folks here on mb can get into it and SUPPORT THE ITALICS REVOLUTION.

What is the underline reason for such a bold movement?

I'm afraid to use this message board now. I think I'm going to have to leave. The sheer badassery of the OP is scaring me. He is so cool and is causing way too much ****. I'm going to keep this thread as evidence in case I fall to this incredible display of badass. I think the police would like that.

Would be great if the most important thing I could think to petition for in America was the use of italics on Facebook. Unfortunately, most of the people in America are probably too busy petitioning for the same sort of thing anyway.

I'd rather it be a campaign against the Harper government.
