Certainly there can't be people out there that attribute personality traits to such things?

*goes home disappointed*

Yeah, I think most rational people don't believe in astrology. Like someone said before, MBTI is a much better way of interpreting your personality.

Although, quick-and-easy internet versions of the test are not the real thing. The actual test costs money to take and includes many, many questions - not 20 or 30 idiotic, obvious ones like "When you're at a party do you talk to a lot of people or stand in a corner by yourself?"

Unfortunately and regardless of what we believe, simply clicking a link and reading the blurb it leads to is not going to accurately tell us who we are :p:

I think a better question would be "When you're at a party do you talk to a lot of people or do you go on-line to talk to a lot of people?"

I stand in a corner and just start talking until a crowd forms. We Sagittarians are very magnetic people.

Yeah, I prefer the MBTI method as well. I'm an ESFJ.

I'm simply wondering how the validity of any sort of test whose basis for determining something as subjective and culturally/socially influenced as the basis of a personality could be laid on a foundation of where stars and planets are at the moment of birth.
That's all I'm saying. I'm not accusing you of following that or anything. But It's weird that there are a lot of people that do.

I mean, if we create a foundation out of that, we might as well start a system that dictates personalities on the basis of how many orange cats are within a 1-mile radius of the hospital. And while that would be a little harder to document, I don't think it would be any less arbitrary than where the stars were at that same time.

Couldn't tell ya. I don't believe they can.

:shycouch:

Hehe, no I'm the life of the party. Cancerian's are supposed to be introverted but there's no way in hell that's accurate for me.

Guys, Ive been thinking about something. If pregnancy lasts for about 9 months, and Im born in January, then does that mean my parents have done the sexual intercourse that led to my birth in April?

Whoa... whoa..
Why are you assuming you weren't adopted?
