Thus, you could simply transfer it to a cup, assuming that cup was sterile, and drink it with no problems or second thoughts, correct?
Unless, of course, our entire concept of cups involves drinking something that did not originate from ourselves, and is to be solely used as a means of adding sustenance, in which case the point would involve the fact that nothing productive is happening by exporting, then importing bodily fluids, versus importing fluids that were not there in the first place.
Somehow, I don't think people objecting to drinking their own spit out of a cup are looking at it that objectively...
