I'll be 24 in a little over a month. I still haven't written a good song, started a novel, traveled, seen Old Country For Old Men or read any Tolstoy. I am a failure in the eyes of my teenage self.

My next birthday I'll be leaving my 20's, so 25 doesn't sound all that bad.

But on the plus side, neither have you written dozens of songs that you've failed to ever record, or commenced writing dozens of prospective novels only to abandon the attempts after a scant 30 or 40 pages... so, you know, it could be worse. :)

I'm getting unhappy thoughts because I'm turning 27. I expected more excitement that's all. I still look 18 according to some people.

I'm 57. My first concert was Led Zeppelin Valentines Day 1975 at the Nassau Coliseum.
Last two were Mazzy Star at Terminal 5 and Crocodiles at MHOW.
Was at some concert was 19 because that their hand stamped so they couldn't drink.
If they're still going to concerts at 57, I'll be 95 and up near the stage ;-)
