There isn't a time limit on that. You are just self imposing one and making yourself feel bad for not reaching that limit.

In Finland he have one singer who made breakthrough when he was 65. There really is no limit.

In my experience, there is no time limit. Don't put that kind of pressure on yourself, just do what you like to do and have fun with it. There is quite a bit of work involved that people will never see, but you just have to accept that, and the sooner you do the better off you'll be. If the time is right, things will happen. I've heard your stuff. Give it time.
