You don't just go "Oh, I'm 30 now, time to grow up" as if it's some sort of choice. You simply find yourself in a different state of mind, dictated by how you've played the life game by then. Not dictated by an arbitrary number where you're suddenly supposed to be different. The numbers never dictate the maturity. The maturity dictates the average of the numbers.

Also, if you're like most 30 year olds in 30 year old scenarios, you're probably not worried about the club scene as much, because you usually have more important sh*t to worry about. Not going out isn't usually dictated by the fact you're 30 and "ewww there's a 30 year old at the club!!!"

Although, I'm definitely not saying that there aren't 30 year olds still living in mom's basement who still think that way.

I was just using the club/party scenario as a general example - I know a few people who think that way. I actually couldn't care less about clubbing and partying right now at 22, so I can't imagine that I'll start frequenting clubs more often when I turn 30, lol.

Interesting you would post this just as I was about to post how much I love women in their 30's. They absolutely rock my socks

For some people, they do actually die at 30.

I don't know about New Zealand, but in the industrialized world most people don't naturally die that early.

Presumably you're just being glib. A lot of people actually die before they're even 30 days old. Worldwide.

Oh well if we are talking naturally. You never know whether you're going to be in an accident, get run down, you might overdose, you might get cancer from an early age.
