Are you saying we can all hookup with our neighbors for free?

Isn't it up to the woman to provide the WEP encryption? I mean, the woman IS the one supposed to take precautions, isn't she? ;) :shycouch:

I've had a WEP encryption for a couple of years now, no problems with people hacking into it or whatever. The password is hella long too, lol. My old router had WPA2-PSK encryption, but since my current router is rented from the ISP it won't let me change the security options.

Doesn't matter how long your password is, spam the router with enough useless data to force it to restart, then capture that data and run it through AirCrack will pop out the password every time.

That's odd that you can't change your encryption though.

It is weird. If I go on properties, the only options I have for encryption is "None" (hell no), or "WEP". I guess I could call them but I hate being on the phone with these people. Especially now that they've outsourced.

Well if anyone breaks into our network we can just move on, it's the woman who's left with the consequences! :D :bonkhead:
