Pride over friendship

No Doubt! It sucks when you eat humble pie more often then not...but in the same respect what you gain outta the situation is perspective on how to deal with similar situations if and when the arise..so for that I count myself as victorious more often then not...try not to let it get you down...these things tend to work themselves out...3 years from now you won't remember why you are mad...!

I actually ended a friendship a couple of years ago, not because of a falling out or bad fight, but because she was stealing things from me. So I just said I never wanted to see her again. And someone else ended a friendship with me about 3 or 4 months ago because she had feelings for my boyfriend and she couldn't control them. She's in love with him and jealous of me.

Ouch... with that one... I dunno if I would have handled that gracefully... I had that happen to me once, chick was in love with my ex for a long long time she would text him while we were in bed see him when she could behind my back, I threatened to kill her several time got escorted off a college campus (she was 10 years my junior and a younger version of me she eventually won his affections, and 1 year later she moved to my new city and checked herself into rehab.. I ended up being her sponsor go figure..... needless to say "our" ex was toxic...

that's how i think as well, i can take alot of sh*t from a friend as long as he's worth it
but when their bad traits outweigh the good i either demote them to 'acquaintances' or end our friendship

well said, i completely agree with you

some ppl take advantage of my kindness but that don't stop me from being kind to others it just teaches me that i should only be kind to ppl that deserve it
