The best part is that instead of eating a sandwich at my desk every day (trolling the internet), my cool Turkish colleagues invite me out for lunch* and we actually hang out. My British/Australian/American colleagues at the last job were so goddamn antisocial I just ate grocery store food by myself every day.

So I'm still checking MB from time to time, but note that the reason I joined was to kill time at my old job.
Congratulations on the new job, Miss P, but I have to say that Istanbul´s gain is MB´s loss. While you are lunching in style with your new-found friends, you have left us languishing ....

I really have been slack music wise. I have an iTunes playlist that shows any albums added in the last 60 days and there are only 6 albums in it. Damn real life getting in the way.

Reality bites me in the arse. Just like Karma and trolls. Someone on here thought I was Dirty. I dunno who the hell is this persona. No, I'm not here to troll nor to get banned. I'm just a fan of awesome music. This place is enjoyable and logical. It's like a party.

A scorpion and a frog meet on the bank of a stream and the scorpion asks the frog to carry him across on its back. The frog asks, “How do I know you won’t sting me?” The scorpion says, “Because if I do, I will die too.”

The frog is satisfied, and they set out. But in midstream, the scorpion stings the frog. The frog feels the onset of paralysis and starts to sink, knowing they both will drown, but has just enough time to gasp “Why?”

Replies the scorpion: “It’s my nature…”

It's like Fry's story about the grasshopper and the octopus. All through the summer the grasshopper stored away acorns for the winter, while the octopus played video games and mooched off his girlfriend. Then winter came. The grasshopper died, and the octopus ate all his acorns. Plus I think he got a sportscar. Is any of this getting through to you?

Do you know the story about the ant and the cow? The cow thought he had a certain amount of territory where it lived, and there was an ant that lived in another spot that was right in the middle of the cow's territory. But the cow didn't even know that the ant was there.
