This is easily the most active forum I frequent. Whilst it may not be at it's peak in terms of active members or overall quality posting, it's still home for some great music and general discussion.

I know everyone loathes my contributions to these types of threads but I think

it's pretty much nailed on the head here. Apart from the few people that take it upon themselves to just be ****s to new members, I think places like Redditt and FourChan have killed the smaller forums like this.

But I don't think the forum has been as quiet recently, as you're saying Vanilla. And I do agree that if it has, summer is a big contributing factor.

lol. It's like you don't use the internet outside of social media.

It's animated GIFs that are the issue, not plain old ordinary GIFs. Regular static GIFs are very useful as various icons and buttons used throughout this site. It's the prevalence of the slow loading, large animated ones people love to post that is annoying.
