I find it ironic that this is possibly the least quiet thread on the forum. There are two things people like to do on a forum more than whatever reason it was intended for in the first place: talk about boobs and complain about the "good ol' days".

I could be guilty of that But from what I've seen, many new members who do introduce themselves get absolutely no response from longtime members. I read many of the music threads which are just great but I'm not much of a contributor - so sorry about that There are also many threads I don't bother reading because the content doesn't interest me at all. Many days I work 10 hours and most evenings are spent with my boyfriend and we do a lot of socialising with friends so the internet is not top of my list of things to do. I have to say I do have a couple of favourite members though - Vanilla is great - and WD - oh and Rjinn from New South Wales too. What happened to ihatepaperdoll or whatever she called herself? She seemed to be a really good member.

Grogsy you are one of the fairly newer members I'd like to see post more. Don't think you've gone completely unnoticed.

It is ironic that you suck donkey balls as you are in fact a donkey's scrotum.

Your irony off the charts. Yeah I know you moved & all, but I generally find people from the Steal Town to have high levels of irony.

However, there are members who work long hours and still fit in time to post on here. I've been here nearly 9 years and I know when it's quiet and when it's unusually quiet. Oh well, it is what it is. I just miss some people that's all. Especially Richard and Tumor.
I think certain members and groups of members have had a much bigger negative impact on the number of genuine regulars, than the decline of forums or the changes in the lives of others.

I've seen the same dynamic on every forum I've ever been on. It's just part of the normal fabric of douchebag internet junkie interaction.

I've seen it too. But never to the extent it occurs here. Every forum has one or two grandfathered in *******s who get to stay around because they're longstanders and have history. And those people get to be *******s to new members and everyone says "Oh thats just the way he is ignore him"

But this forum has groups of members who will honest-to-god grandstand about how invincible they are and how much they influence who gets to stay and who has to go. Members who make it their business to try and actively control who gets to stay via pretty much group bullying. And the worst part is, everyone here probably thinks of the same people when I say that. Everyone here would probably think of the same people, even if it were say, Janzsoon or Right-Track or Mojo saying it. Those people.

Although I agree with you GB, I experienced some minor bullying as a new member but still stuck around. I'd daresay the meek don't belong on internet forums.
