Maybe not. But this isn't about the meek - its about the fact this dynamic forces the forum to be full of only the most stubborn and brutish people who can muster the tenacity to stick around despite the fact not one, but a group of members, will invariably find fault with them and try and run them outta town.

I'm stubborn as ****, and I've taken breaks from this place because I just don't want to deal with the high tides of dickishness that come from certain posses of members acting as a unit to be dicks to people.

I've never had to do that on any other forum I've ever been a part of, because on those forums, one ******* is just that - one *******, and you can usually just go "Get a load of this *******" and turn the argument back on them. Here the *******s have semi-constant backup.

But this forum has groups of members who will honest-to-god grandstand about how invincible they are and how much they influence who gets to stay and who has to go. Members who make it their business to try and actively control who gets to stay via pretty much group bullying. And the worst part is, everyone here probably thinks of the same people when I say that. Everyone here would probably think of the same people, even if it were say, Janzsoon or Right-Track or Mojo saying it. Those people.

True. But there's also always a cult of personality around at least one person on a site who's charismatic and abusive. Just one more part of the fabric of internet life. It's BS, but forums still function regardless.

Sure. I've been that guy more than a few times. But this place takes it to dysfunctional levels.

Yes the plug incident, now granted that night I had was so intoxicated I was lucky I could turn on my computer. But you also have to see it through someone else's eyes, which it came across as attacking me in the syg thread and you couldn't even remember my name (

) Now I am glad we squashed our issue, and glad you stuck around because you are a sweetheart, but that is an incident where you (collective you btw) can't judge people you just met and not know the whole story.

I have experienced this a couple times from new members and maybe that's because they feel like I am an easy target, or whatever, but I treat every single person here the way I want to be treated, and I don't appreciate new people or old people being an ******* to me for no reason. Because I am not an ******* for no reason and if I am and someone calls me out on it, I am quick to apologize in front of God and the forum. That's just me. I'd rather watch and get to know new people and see how the conduct themselves before I make a judgement. I have seen recently a plethora of new people that neither contribute, or introduce themselves, and decline in older members. It bums me out. Because there are some fabulous posters that just dipped. And that could be for a number of reasons and it would be ludicrous for me to speculate on why they aren't here.

@Roxy - I didn't know you could be a bitch. You seem to be nice to everyone since I've been around.

I'm with Carpe on this one. As a long time forum poster that **** is to be expected and to be honest this forum has less douchebags than any gaming community forum you will find outside of guild/clan specific ones.

I've had a few altercations here and there but nothing I was offended by or felt bullied over. If you expect to get along with everyone you need to step back and reconsider reality.

Lol, thank you sweetpea, I have had a few shining moments, and my claws seem to come out when I feel attacked. What can I say, I am 96% sugar,and I'm ok with that. I am good at dishing out **** and I can take it also, but I seem to get bitchy when it's that time of the month or if Im going through stuff in my personal life. I am human after.But thank you for your kind words doll.

Edit: I cussed Mondo out the month my dad had open heart surgery, lost my job,and was moving all in the same month, and I had really no valid reason...(Bitchy enough for you?) I promtly apologized the next time I saw him tho lol...Sorry Mondo I still feel wretched about that :
