You claim death is a big loss but death may be the greatest of all human blessings. We don't know.

As for what follows being irrelevant, I disagree. All things, including our decisions and our actions, are forever interacting with eachother. Our thoughts become our words, our words become our actions, our actions become our habits, our habits become our character, and our character becomes our destiny. Nothing happens in isolation.

You missed the point. A loss that comes from a win doesn't affect the status of the first win. The win was still a win. The resulting loss is separate.

If you win the lottery , you still won the lottery regardless of what happens afterwards.

So winning is still winning.

But if winning the lottery ruins your life or ends your life prematurely, was winning the lottery a good thing?

Winning the lottery didn't ruin your life. The actions after you won the lottery did. So winning is still winning.

Fair enough. We'll have to agree to disagree.

We've been arguing over nonsense for days and now you're gonna do the whole "I'll believe what I believe and you believe what you believe" schtick? Were you carrying on a serious discussion or something? Cause I was enjoying the BS.

Hehe. We haven't been arguing. We've been discussing. It's like this: I enjoy bouncing ideas and opinions around, I enjoy sharing my philosophies and beliefs and I enjoy others sharing theirs, but as far as trying to prove myself right, or another wrong, or trying to convince someone to see the world through my eyes... to me that's senseless. For me to argue my point I would have to believe that the way I see things are the way things really are, but I don't believe that for a second. I suspect a lot of things, but am fully aware I don't know anything.

So, yes, I am gonna draw the 'I believe what I believe, and you believe what you believe' card. Sorry.

Mmm. I like green tea too. Although to be honest I like every tea I've ever tried and, boy, I've tried a few. But darjeeling is probably my favourite.
