It's fine to say how you see something. It's also fine to point out someone's ignorance in hopes that they'll come around and see things the way they really are.

No one knows for sure but the man who solicited her may have been convicted for being a sexual offender. He might've been a rapist. Sure, she got out okay and is fine now but just the possibility of something like that is enough to warrant the reactions here. It's not something you just shrug off and say "Oh well, at least she was molested LOL!" about.
