I wanna go back in time and hang with your dad.

The AMEX gift cards are probably the best ones since you can use them anywhere. I can't tell you how many times i've gotten gift cards for places that I would never shop otherwise.

Me too, I would have loved to grow up during those times. It was much more simpler.

Aww thanks guys I'm so happy now! My parents fecking rule. Does anyone else have parents who grew up during that time? Dad travelled to the US but wasn't old enough to go to woodstock unfortunately.

My parents were more 50's Elvis Presley early era people. They lived the 60's though.

**** yeah that's awesome, I wonder if it was because your dad moved to Canada or because the trend was in New Zealand? We are usually quite behind in trenda, we are a really small country!

Being up on trends is so overrated. I much prefer people who can just be themselves and let go. With that being said I find myself sometimes falling into that box.

My dad moved here in 1974 when he was 19, but he remembers the hippy culture being pretty lively in Auckland. It started fading away around the world by that point though so he grew out of it.
