Post anything Christmas here. What do you want for Christamas? What are you doing for Christmas? etc.

I can't wait for Christmas because I am (hopefully) getting an Electric Guitar, Which is exciting because atm I only have an acoustic.
Also I am getting GTA V!!!!!!! Everybody knows why that's so good.

As every year, loads of relatives are coming round, which is kinda annoying cos all of my relatives coming over are adults, so there's nobody my age. I usually just sit there getting ignored but whatever.

djchameleon 11-09-2013 05:16 AM

My personal x-mas is coming up in 6 days! I have been counting down for the last 30 days.

Getting dat PS4. I so can't wait.

The last few years or so I haven't given a toss about actual Christmas though. I've been in a real bah humbug mood and wouldn't decorate or acknowledge that it's Christmas in any way. Christmas songs are the worse. I feel like chopping carolers in the neck whenever I see them.

This year might be different though. I'm not going all out with decorations but I might get myself a tree. I haven't had a tree around my cats so that should be fun to see how long it takes for them to reek havoc on it. No ornaments yet. I'm not in THAT much of a Christmas mood.

Maybe next year.

I dunno whether to get a PS4 cos I know if I do I'll just end up addicted to it and won't revise for my exams. Plus it's very expensive.

Last year I wasn't so excited for Xmas, but this year I am. Mainly because last year I didn't want anything too great, but this year the electric guitar is gonna be sickkkk.
I do hate how everyone gets super excited about Christmas REALLY early. (I suppose this is still quite early right now but yeah.) Theres this shop I went into and it was playing Christmas songs at the end of September.

Dulce 11-09-2013 07:11 AM

i'm not getting any cool stuff this year. i've been a very naughty little girl. just gonna get laid and hit the hay!

i hope you guys get dat awesome video game system!

To be honest, if I was you I would wait on getting the PS4 especially if you aren't into the launch titles plus it is expensive and if you wait til next year they may have a new model that works out all the bugs and glitches from the launch model.

But if I get it this time next year, I'll only have one year to play it before uni. I reckon I just won't get it at all.

why don't you take it to uni with you and get a smaller tv to play it on? You can just play during your down times.

I'm gettin' a new personality. Can't wait.

Epic. Win. Priceless.

Mr. Charlie 11-10-2013 11:09 AM

I know, right. I'm gonna be a complete dick.

So how many will that make? Three, four?

Mr. Charlie 11-12-2013 05:08 PM

A few.

IvanMC 11-12-2013 06:26 PM

I'm going to gorge myself on meat and some scrumptious ice cream. I might guzzle down some meagre amounts of booze afterwards, but it's BBQ, at Xmas, which is paramount; then we'll see if there's enough room left for the aforesaid drinks. Xmas is beyond amazing; snow and whatnot is non-existent here: we'll cool down on a terrace on a balmy night, meat, and the family falling out over politics.

Dulce 11-12-2013 06:57 PM

i hate f#cken xmas. :(

IvanMC 11-12-2013 08:39 PM

Why do you hate it that much, Dulce?

It's to celebrate the birth of our lord and saviour. Heretic!

I love Christmas, always have. A time to sit back with loved ones, be merry and relax.

Because she is a rebel and hates video games and thinks she's LUCIFER so it's only natural she doesn't like Christmas?

Taxman 11-13-2013 07:04 AM

I like Christmas but this hype and all this make me sick. It would be nice just to eat good food and be with your loved ones but... Don't wanna say that commercialism sucks cos it would be pretentious, but I guess you see what I mean

Plankton 11-13-2013 08:23 AM

I'm getting the daughter a PS4, getting the GF a new fancy full length mirror, and a 32" flat screen TV. Then there's all the nieces and nephews... ugh.

This is the time of year where I go broke.

Best thing about this year is that I get to spend it with my Dad, which I haven't done for decades.

On the one hand you like mouse but not pudding, but on the other you eat BBQ for Christmas. So are you pretentious or white trash? I'm confused.

Scarlett O'Hara 11-13-2013 06:29 PM

I love Christmas, it's such a great excuse to spend time with my family. This year I am going down to Dunedin (where I was brought up) to have Christmas dinner at my nana's. I love having a roast or bbq, opening presents as soon as we wake up and slob out after we've finished our meal.

Every year I've made an attempt to get her something pricey. PC's, Laptops, Game Consoles, Money... last year it was a car. It just took me more time to get the funds together. She really deserves it though. She works 6 nights a week and goes to college full time.

Chip off the old block she is.

How do you people pronounce that? We have a neighborhood by that name where I live and the people around here insist on pronouncing it like "Done eatin'".

It's pronounced Dun-Ed-Din.

Mr. Charlie 11-14-2013 05:53 PM

Xmas ads are already on the telly here. I swear they get earlier (and worse!) each year.

IvanMC 11-17-2013 07:44 PM

I'm looking forward to it just for all the grub I'll be gobbling down. I don't care about my family or the memories... I'll laugh at them falling out over politics. I'll be there on my mother's terrace, cooking bbq and having a laugh with my lass -and also with my cat- on a balmy night (we've lucked out here; no snow or execrable cold weather at Christmas).

And I'll stay quiet when my uncle and grandfather talk about how someone should assassinate Obama and make "black voices" when they're watching football and a black guy does an N-Zone dance.

Burning Down 11-18-2013 03:50 PM

I'm actually excited for Christmas now. And my boyfriend's birthday. I have so much to buy lol.

Key 11-18-2013 08:17 PM

I've found as I got older that Christmas is far more exciting when you get to watch the person open the gift you got for them. And seeing how excited that are about it.

Sansa Stark 11-19-2013 04:12 PM

I'm suuuper excited about Christmas now that my cookie baking will be exponentially more insane than it was last year. I'mma fill the place with deliciousness.

Ninetales 11-19-2013 09:23 PM

i can tell its almost christmas because its god damn -25 out and weve had 2 blizzards in 3 days. ho ho ho

ho ho hoMG what sort of hellish territory do you call home??

All I want for Christmas are two beautiful cats, and some sort of liquor that incorporates peppermint and mocha without being a malted beverage.

that's literally all I need.

It's 0 here, no snow yet. But there was a sheet of ice on my car this morning and I discovered how ****ty my cheap ice scraper is.

Ninetales 11-19-2013 10:09 PM

I live in the good ol alberta canada. My car door handle broke off because it was so cold. like wtf that only happens in cartoons i thought. It also took me over 2 hours to get home from work today (usually a ~25 min commute). So ya im a little bitter that its so damn ****ty outside but whaevs i should be used to it now. sigh

But it shouldn't effect you at all since Ninetales is fire pokemon and ice moves are weak against it.
