I was surfing the net the other day and I came across this ad for MacDonalds. I'm sorry if this seems extreme but aren't we supposed to be facing an obesity crisis with one third of all people being obese or something. How can we fight this problem with crap companies issuing challenges such as these?!?

"Are you man enough to spend all your money into making yourself morbidly obese?"

...Sad. But tis the way of the media now I guess..

Don't get me started on fast food chains, oh and read fast food nation by Eric Schlosser.

nothing... im just sayin that macdonalds shouldnt advertise to people by giving them a challenge of "can you eat this pile of **** or arent you man enough?". its playing on peoples sense of worth and it will screw peoples heads up..... its wrong

^ Well it wouldn't be the first, nor last, nor the worst advertising to do so. I like McDonalds, and Mmmmmmmm a burger and fries sound sooooo good right now. Of course, I'm a skinny person with nothing to fear from greasy, fatty foods, so that type of advertising is fine by me! :)

true that... i was just astonished by this because of all the media about it and obesity etc...
