A Facebook-free world

I die a little bit inside when people us Wikipedia for Collage essays. When I did Geology and Geography during my degree, we'd get an automatic zero for plagiarism or using Wiki.

Facebook is for people who are desperate for attention, and some people will go to great lengths to get noticed. You only have to look at the photos stuck on there to prove that.

Its also a bit like a potential new husband/wife/partner doing a 'credit-check' on you or reading your life history before realising what a jerk you are.

I use the book of face from time to time mostly to update mates who aren't in my locality the progress on my cars. I've never believed in adding people i've never met so it doesn't happen. People from other forums and messageboards have asked for my fb page or sent requests in the past and I always decline or hit the ignore and "delete request" button

In my opinion if I've never met you you're not a friend plus i'm very distrusting of people I don't know

I've never seen the point of adding people I've never met ................. bit like having penpals you are probably never going to see in your life.

Fair enough

I don't spend much time on the internet anyway - work long hours and free time is spent with the love of my life and I have heaps of friends to catch up with whenever I get the chance.
