As for Vanilla's question. Sleeping with someone is a matter of circumstances, not personality. Where people sometimes confuse things is the implication that sleeping together means something other than sleeping together. If we have sex the first time we meet - that's fine, and its fun. But it doesn't mean I won't quickly realize you're out of your mind and clingy.

I only think being slutty means not covering yourself medically. Its a rough world out there, and if you're having condom-less sex a lot, then I'm going to think less of you. Having a lot of sex (healthy, protected sex) doesn't make you a slut, it makes you good in bed.

Thanks for that Brennan. I slept with a guy on an unofficial date with his brother and my friend. He came to my house and took me for a date, but when he saw my room (barbies, soft toys, ott pink) he said to me I'm obviously bat **** crazy and my dolls with shift their heads and say "come play with us" (his words) and never he texted me again. I text him that he's so not worth my time. My exboyfriend (the Russian guy who lived in the same hostel) was so genuine and caring. He didn't even speak about my room, he was just happy to spend every night with me. Plus, my ex was actually attractive and this guy who I slept with twice (I don't know why), had his pale white beer gut gaping which was disgusting. I literally wanted to take a shower after being with him. He looked good with clothes on, but not with them off.

My dad reckoned that his mates (in their 40's and 50's) think that if you sleep with a guy straight away they won't respect you. I'm not sure if that's true or just based on their traditions from growing up in the 60's.

I think you are definitely right, but a lot of guys have it in their head that if a girl gives in for sex, that is a conquest (the end of the chasing her) so they move on to the next one!

Think a lot of men would, ones my age anyway. A lot of lads I know think she is not 'wife' material if she does that.

I don't even think it's necessarily a conquest thing, just that some lads will not want to commit to anyone who met you one night and sucked you off in a field within three hours.

My own opinion: People can do what they want.

Good point. When I was younger, I found that many guys didn't see me as 'wife' material. Even now people can't see me being a wife, I'm apparently the 'mistress'. The same goes for children, some say that I wouldn't suit having a kid. I think partially the problem is that I look really young (~18) and they can't believe it when I tell them I am 26. I was in the pharmacy yesterday and the lady there was shocked at my real age. I am known for being very career focused and honestly, I don't feel I'm ready for both motherhood or getting married. I'm going off topic here, but this is related to how you approach a guy. If you come off sexually charged into a few times of dating, the guy will enjoy it but not see you as a girlfriend material. Studies apparently show that men tend to go for women who look and behave similar to their mother. I don't know if that's true or not.

sorta exsists like a unicorn, or the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. ... honestly though some of my best friendships were born outta knocking the sexual outta the way first....wouldn't have it any other way either...because that sexual bond made the friendships stronger....

Pfft, what a shit study!

I don't think men go for women that behave similar to their mother but some guys do tend to go for women that they think have more child bearing qualities and would make a good mother not necessarily their own mothers!

Being friendzone'd is not unrequited love. Its when you don't recognize your own weakness (as the person being friendzoned) and they refuse to cut ties with you.

See this is why I said there are different definitions related to what the Friendzone is. People have their own interpretations of what it is.

It isn't simple cut and dry.

Maybe some do. Others most definitely do not.
