I think I just need to work on the fine art of seduction in my early-onset middle age. Been getting the cold shoulder from the male kind for a while.

Batlord, Booth, you two are closer than you think. My great-great-grandfather (might be a great off) was an officer in the Prussian cavalry.

I know that feel. I must come across as such a dumbass dweeb sometimes. My method of flirting involves awkward ping-pong staring at her face and then my feet, a clumsy introduction, and enough alcohol to hopefully only remember those details.

dude, I used to be superfine.

I used to know people that would fucking beg for my touch.

I'm way past my prime now and it makes me so angry.

What?
How old are you? This "prime" you speak of, surely you're not talking about teenage years...

I'm 25 but I looked my best at 19 when I had curves and tits and no fine lines on my face/no bags under my eyes or visible signs of permanent damage or exhaustion. Now I'm just thin and grey and worn.

eh. I'm pretty ok with the way I look most of the time and I have more of a personality than I ever did in my entire life.

it's probably just my lifestyle but it's disheartening when most of the human contact you ever get is from hugs from the nice girls you work with.

You're 25. You're in better shape today than you will ever be in 10, 15 years. Capitalize on it. Body shape is malleable until you die. That part is easy. Commit. Lines on the face? Well, might be inevitable, but I doubt you're dealing with the same sort of thing you might be dealing with when you're actually an old person. You're probably being hypercritical about that. Gray? I doubt it. Worn? Well, I'm sure that's more of a state of mind.

Good lord.

STFU.

Some of you 20-something folks here amaze me. And not in a good way.

Bright side being that some of the other 20-something folks here blow my freaking mind in the bestest possible way!

*stepping down off of my cloud*

(seriously, find a way to enjoy breathing. It's fleeting in the grand scheme of things)

Preach. I'm only 33 and I find her post insane.
